Smile Online Banking UI: A very simple system to use but my only ‘gripe’ has been the very basic – and a little clunky – UI so I thought I would re-design this, based on my many years of use.

 

I’ve used softer, rounded (more human) buttons and fields to echo the smile logo/icon and introduced lifestyle background imagery – these could even be simple video files – which would change, depending on each page/section.

 

I wanted each page to have a user-friendly, at-a-glance appearance, adopting the smile logo to indicate accounts in credit (happy icon) or in debit (sad icon).
